I love books, films, dancing, music.
My latest novel - Christ on a Bike - was published by the award winning Bluemoose Books on 25 January 2024, and has been long listed for the Dublin Literary Award 2025.
Writing has always been my passion and, from a young age, I knew I wanted to be a storyteller. My writing focuses on the dark and macabre side of family life, the parts that go on behind closed doors.
In 2020 I came second in the Sandstone Press Short Fiction competition and was published in Storgy Magazine. In 2016 I was picked to be mentored by Sarah Savitt at Virago Press, and this encouraged me to publish my work.
Supporting women in writing is important to me and I was lucky enough to work on a writers’ mentoring scheme, as an assistant to the author Kerry Hudson, at the WoMentoring Project.
Before I became a writer, I was an actress and drama practitioner, studying Theatre at Bretton Hall College of the Arts.
The Lost Thumb was published in March 2019, and PAH was published in July 2021.
